Born March 17th, 1996 to his mother of Dominican descent and his father of Puerto Rican descent, Joel Corcino (known as Jerry Zyno) is a captivating new artist emerging on the New York music scene. Raised in the neighborhood of Inwood, New York, in Upper Manhattan, he was inspired by the sounds of his upbringing and community.
He picked up his first guitar at the age of 4 years old, and since then, he knew what his calling was. Inspired by artists like:

He ventured out to start his musical career in 2014, where he began playing guitar for hire in a tipico band called Mambo York. He has since made a name for himself in the local bachata scene, playing with big acts such as:
Elvis Martinez
Chicho Severino
Monchy
In 2023, he decided to pursue his own career and dropped a cover of a popular song by Mexican artist Christian Nodal called “Adios Amor.” To much local success, he decided to debut himself live for the first time in November of 2023, selling out the event.
He has since gone on to drop various original singles, including a collaboration with another group from New York City, Grupo Aurora, called LMCY, which has surpassed 100k streams in under 6 months of being released.
