Alex Bachata

Alex Bachata is a dynamic and versatile musician, composer, and music director based in the DMV (Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area. With deep roots in Latin and country traditions and a passion for innovation, he has built a reputation as a skilled multi-

instrumentalist and bandleader, earning acclaim for both live performances and studio recordings.

He inherited his passion for music from his father, a singer and musician. Growing up surrounded by El Salvadoran cumbia, he began on percussion before

transitioning to violin. Today, he serves as music director and violinist for his father band.

In 2020, Alex discovered bachata's rhythms and started Playing professionally segunda guitar and requinto. He has since performed and recorded with local Bachata bands in the DC metro area and toured around the US.

Today Alex Continues to expand his artistry With a foundation built on familial legacy and a forward-looking approach to genre fusion, Alex Bachata remains dedicated to elevating Latin music traditions while charting new creative territory.
